(1) If an organization conducting conformity testing wants to obtain an accreditation certificate for work related to conformity testing, it must submit an application to the Center in the prescribed format along with the prescribed fee.
(2) If an application is received in accordance with sub-section (1), the center shall appoint a Nepali citizen who has obtained a bachelor's degree in a related subject from a recognized university and has at least ten years of experience to carry out the necessary investigation and examination in relation to such an application.
(3) The examiner designated as per sub-section (2) shall submit the preliminary report to the center in the prescribed format after carrying out necessary investigations and tests within the period specified by the center.
